Scott started his career in the electrical industry around 2014, working for an established electrical company and gaining experience across a wide range of electrical work.
In 2017 he took the step of going out on his own and started building what would eventually become Inman's Electricals. What began as one person working independently grew steadily through repeat customers, recommendations and relationships with other local trades and businesses.
In 2022 the business was incorporated as Inman's Electricals Ltd. Since then it has continued to grow, carrying out everything from domestic electrical work, fault finding, consumer unit upgrades and EICRs through to larger installations, commercial work and projects alongside builders and other contractors.
The next stage is about growth: expanding the team, taking on larger commercial and development projects, and building long-term relationships with contractors, developers, landlords and businesses — while continuing to look after domestic customers across Swindon and the surrounding areas.
The aim isn't to become a faceless electrical company. As the business grows, the standards, reliability and personal service that built Inman's Electricals in the first place stay exactly where they are.
